What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Who we are
Project Future is run by its founder, Rajveer Singh Jolly, who is responsible for the personal information described here. For any privacy question, write to rajveer@projectfuture.co.za.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. If you email or WhatsApp us, or use the contact form, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to write.
- Donations. PayFast and CoinPayments process donations on their own secure pages. We never see your card details. They may share your name, email address and the amount with us so we can keep records.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to keep the site secure and running.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics tools, and we don't sell personal information.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to you, to arrange outreach and partnerships, to keep donation records, and to keep the site working. We only use it for those purposes, and we keep it for as long as we need it for them or as the law requires.
Other services
Films on this site come from YouTube, which has its own privacy policy. The player only loads once you press play, though some preview images come straight from YouTube. PayFast, CoinPayments, WhatsApp and our email and hosting providers also handle information on our behalf or under their own policies, and some of them may store it outside South Africa.
Children and young people
Photographs and films of young people appear on this site with consent. If you'd like an image of you or your child removed, write to us and we'll take it down. This site isn't designed to collect personal information from children, and we ask anyone under 18 to involve a parent or guardian before contacting us.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to us and we'll respond. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
